Systems Built for How Your Space Actually Works

Salt Creek Integrated designs and installs professional audio, video, lighting, control, and supporting infrastructure for churches, schools, venues, businesses, and public facilities. We begin with what the room must accomplish, how people will use it, and what success should sound and feel like. Then we build the technology around that outcome.

We Believed Clients Deserved Better

The work that became Salt Creek Integrated started in 2018 and took the Salt Creek name in 2021. But the reason behind it began much earlier.

After more than 20 years serving and working alongside churches – and years spent as a professional musician, live-production technician, and system operator – our founder, Eric du Toit, had seen too many good organizations receive bad advice.

Some were sold systems that never matched the room. Others inherited complicated technology their people could not operate. Too often, seemingly capable providers recommended what was easiest to sell instead of what the client actually needed.

Salt Creek Integrated was built to approach the work differently: listen carefully, ask better questions, speak honestly, and design the right system around the people who must live with it.

If the Room Doesn't Sound Right, the Rest Cannot Make Up for It

Audio is the least forgiving part of any integrated system.

People must be able to understand every word. Music should feel natural and engaging. Coverage should remain consistent throughout the room. The system must deliver the necessary performance without becoming difficult, fragile, or intimidating to operate.

That conviction grew from years spent performing and working in churches, schools, venues, and live-production environments. We understand what it feels like to stand behind a microphone, operate the console, lead volunteers, manage an event, and depend on a system when failure is not an option.

Sound comes first – not because video, lighting, control, networking, and infrastructure are unimportant, but because none of them can compensate for a room people cannot hear.

The Equipment List Comes Later

Before we recommend products, we work to understand the problem.

What must happen in the room? Who will operate the system? What is already working? What is getting in the way? How will the space change over time? What decisions are being made by the architect, contractor, electrician, IT team, facilities staff, or other trades?

Those questions shape everything that follows.

Salt Creek coordinates audio, video, lighting, acoustics, control, networking, power, conduit, rigging, racks, sightlines, and user workflows as parts of one operating environment. That front-end coordination identifies conflicts early—before they become expensive compromises hidden above the ceiling or inside the walls.

Designed From the Outcome Backward

Listen

We begin with your goals, frustrations, users, room, budget, and long-term plans – not a predetermined equipment package.

Design

We develop a complete system around performance, usability, infrastructure, serviceability, and responsible stewardship of the budget.

Coordinate

We work with owners, architects, contractors, electricians, IT teams, facilities staff, and specialized partners to resolve conflicts before installation.

Install

Our team executes the design with disciplined workmanship, clear communication, and attention to the details that determine long-term reliability.

Commission

We test, configure, tune, label, document, and verify the complete system – not merely confirm that the equipment powers on.

Train and Support

We train the people who will use the system and continue supporting them through remote assistance, warranty labor, troubleshooting, and ongoing guidance.

Who we serve

Built for the rooms where sound and light matter most.

From a 60-seat chapel to a stadium bowl, the design process is the same: requirements first, products second.

Churches & houses of worship

Clear speech, musical worship and livestream from one system your volunteers can run. Built for churches, synagogues and congregations of any size.

the Salt Creek Team

The People Accountable for the Work

Salt Creek is led by people who remain directly involved in the decisions that shape our projects. Our leadership team is supported by trusted designers, engineers, technicians, manufacturers, and specialized trade partners selected around the needs of each system.

Eric du Toit

Founder / Principal

Eric leads company vision, client discovery, system design, and technical strategy. His perspective is shaped by more than 20 years of ministry involvement, 15 years in live production, 12 years as a professional musician, and five years focused on permanent AV design and integration. Having depended on these systems as a performer, operator, technician, and project leader, Eric approaches design from the experience people need – not simply the equipment available.

Kristina du Toit

Owner / CEO

Kristina leads company strategy, financial stewardship, purchasing, and administration. She provides the organizational discipline behind Salt Creek’s technical work, helping ensure that purchasing decisions are responsible, projects are properly supported, and the company is positioned to honor its commitments long after installation is complete.

Jeff Ritzheimer

Director of Operations

Jeff leads project execution, scheduling, and operational communication. He works to keep customers, team members, and project partners aligned while ensuring that work progresses clearly and efficiently. His responsibility is to help turn the commitments made during design into a well-executed finished system.

Partners & platforms

The Right Technology, Not Just the Familiar Name

Salt Creek maintains top-tier dealer and integration relationships with Danley Sound Labs, Allen & Heath, Yamaha Professional Audio, and Green-GO. These partnerships give our team access to training, technical resources, manufacturer support, and products we trust in demanding real-world environments.

We also work with carefully evaluated manufacturers such as MAXHUB, Aurora Multimedia, Alfatron, Audix, and others whose technology can provide exceptional capability, simpler operation, or better value for a particular application.

Brands matter – but they are tools, not the goal. Every product must earn its place in the design.

Trusted to Solve the Problems That Matter

Salt Creek has completed integration work across Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, with active projects extending into Tennessee.

Our work includes new systems, renovations, phased upgrades, system evaluations, and complete corrective redesigns when an existing installation has failed to meet the client’s needs.

Castleview Baptist Church : Castle Rock, Colorado

Salt Creek was brought in after the original system failed to deliver the coverage, performance, and experience the church needed. We completed a full redesign and installation built around the room, the ministry, and its long-term use.

Pinecrest Baptist Church : McDonough, Georgia

An underperforming original design became a complete Salt Creek redesign and installation, giving the church a system better aligned with its room, worship environment, operators, and expectations.

Education

Our educational work includes projects for Natrona County School District, Pueblo County Schools, and Aurora Public Schools, encompassing instructional, performance, athletic, and campus environments.

Pueblo County High School Stadium : Pueblo, Colorado

A permanent outdoor system designed around the demanding coverage, intelligibility, environmental, and operational requirements of a school athletic facility.
